The "yellow tag" master cylinder has become a legend in it's own right, this is the master cylinder to go for.

Further information,

• Has a built in failure switch on the fluid resovoir cap, 6.4mm flat blade terminals.
• The only recommended replacement for all models from September 1978 to 1988.
• This replaces all the front to rear square type reservoir cylinders GMC173/198 and the GMC192/195.
• This master cylinder does require a special brake pipe kits refer to our fitting page which can be found here
• Pre 89 LHD is BAU5655 and RHD cars is BAU5654.
• 1989 onwards BAU5654-89
• Repair kit is GRK1035.
• Late 1988 cars and those after had a built in servo,see GMC242.
