Manufactured by us, this stepped bolt is used when fitting the single cowling. The earlier radiators (pre 1974) used four of these bolts. When British Leyland changed to a two piece cowling in 1974 they fitted an ordinary bolt with a spacer 12A1985. Our stepped bolt is a direct replacement for any of the earlier type that uses the stepped or ordinary 5/16" threaded bolt and the previously mentioned spacer 12A1985.
