This unit is prone to failing because the assembly is contaminated by dirt and moisture, once this happens it will be destroyed very quickly! This CV rubber boot protects the joint at all angles but if your boot shows any sign of cracking or scuffing early replacement can save a lot of time and money. These boots are for the inboard CVs of rod change cars and includes grease and plastic clips.
