This 90 degree little rubber connector joins to the metal line that fits the distributor. A straight pipe connects the stock vacuum advance distributor to the carb/manifold. If this connector is deteriorated it could allow a vaccum leak at the carb and stop the advance from working properly. Related product: straight connector (12B2095).
