Manufactured by us this steel center main strap for large bore engines, complete with longer high tensile bolts, is essential for a performance A series or A+ engine.

To prevent severe damage to bearings, crank or main cap the center main bearing of the crankshaft should be as stable as possible.

Our CMS kit contains the correct SAE Grade 8 bolts, manufactured to comply with BS 1768, they have a ISO 10.9 tensile strength. We are so confident in our kit we provide a certificate of conformity. Do not confuse with bolts that have a tensile strength of ISO 8.8 as they are not the same.

Our strap unlike most of our competitors are surface ground on both the "mating" surfaces this increases the main bearing integrity and reduces movement that you get with the cheaper alternatives in the market place.
