Heavy duty adjustable tie bars with a larger diameter bar for extra strength. These square ended tie bars are suitable for cars fitted with standard calipers. If you have 4 pot or up-rated calipers we also sell tie bars with rounded ends that are more suitable as there is a good chance that the square ones foul when turning tightly. NB These bars do not have a flat machined on them because it reduces the diameter of the rod and creates a weak point. Related products: Tie bar bush (31G1155).

I've had these fitted to my MPi for around a year now. After having continual problems with tracking due to bent standard rods and seemingly infinite potholes, these rods were a great upgrade. Since changing to them I have had no handling/tracking issues, and they are still straight!
