This is a higher spec shaft for the pre A plus gearboxes. Manufactured in-house from EN36B, double heat treated and then ground for a superior surface finish you will not find better. Identified by the lack of a step where the bearings sit and by one end being larger than the other. Related products: Bearings 88G396 and CHM141
