The camshaft bearings should be replaced every time the block goes to the machine shop. These bearings fit all late model 1275cc blocks (the ones without tappet covers on the back). These are a AE Federal Moguel product so you can be sure of the quality, not the cheapest around but fail to replace these bearings and you can be looking at an expensive rebuild. These bearings are suiatable for mini's without tappet covers and all Cooper S. Relate products: Blocks with tappet covers (AEC3046).
